The Cellar of the Main Residence is outfitted entirely of amenity spaces for guest use. It includes a home theatre, a full service bar, a billiards room, spa with steam, sauna, and massage rooms, and a gym.
The construction of each room presented many technical challenges: the theatre required careful coordination with the A/V specialist to ensure a balanced sound system, while the Billiards Room lounge needed to be seamlessly integrated with HVAC, audio, and electrical.
The sourcing of premium materials in the spa, which included large format Bianco Dolomiti slabs and frameless 9’-0” ombre-glass doors, took many stone yard visits and coordination with the glass manufacturer. Even the gym, while seemingly simple, required coordination with the client’s trainer for the correct flooring required for workouts.
