Model Making

Over the years, I’ve been able to supplement my technical 2-D drafting skills with physical model making to help communicate ideas in a tangible way.

I have experience in woodworking, laser cutting, and 3-D printing and enjoy using unusual materials to convey different ideas at a variety of scales and during all phases of the design process.

I worked full-time in the William Rawn Associates Model Shop as a student, which was an integral department at the firm. While there, I learned how powerful modeling it is as a tool and was sought out to develop models at the subsequent firms I worked at afterwards.
