The Retail Studio at Grade Design, Inc. was comprised of 3 team members. As one of the core members, I acted as primary draftsman on all retail projects and support for the head of the Studio.
Much coordination for this project took place between the corporate Dior designers and GRADE architects to create a dynamic and enjoyable shopping experience for customers. I was involved in the project at all phases— from initial site survey to construction site visits.
Dior was a repeat client, using Grade as the Architect of Record for several store build-outs throughout the US. This particular build out consists of a retail floor that follows Dior’s “modern concept,” originally conceived by Peter Marino Architect. This venue marked the first roll-out of the design in the tri-state area and included an expansive floor to ceiling video wall.
