Plaza Residence

Client: Private

Location: Central Park South, New York

Size: 1690 SF

Role: Project Manager

This luxurious pied-à-terre was developed while at Grade Design, Inc. Inspired by its context in the legendary Plaza Hotel on the corner of Central Park in New York, the architectural envelope and hard finishes are rooted in traditionalism and utilize high-end materials and craftsmanship in a palette of neutral, warm tones.

As the architectural Project Manager, I conceptualized all millwork interventions, including the wall-to-wall paneling in the Entry Foyer, the gut renovation of the Kitchen, and the onyx marbled Master Bathroom.

I also designed 3-D models for conceptual review, followed by the coordination of outsourced renderings. I managed the budget with the client and General Contractor and developed drawings for the Building Review.

All the architectural design elements were conceived in conjunction with GRADE’s in-house interior design team, who selected finishes and furnishings that stemmed from antique, contemporary and custom sources with a focus on pieces containing European heritage, chic style and artistic value.
