Byredo is a European brand from Stockholm that launched in 2006. They seek to re-define luxury, focusing their goods on fragrance, makeup, home goods and accessories.

With less than 50 stores world wide, the brand exudes exclusivity and uniqueness and delivers products using the highest quality materials.

Their store aesthetic is clean, modern, and very architectural. In designing a table top display for their hair perfume, I took cues from their minimal packaging and pulled inspiration from contemporary artists such as Jeff Koons and Anish Kapoor.

Byredo is reinventing the world of luxury through a new approach, where creation is led by emotions, expressing a full and limitless brand universe.

The resulting display relies on materials to tell the story: a petrified wood base elevates the display and gives the product the sense of longevity.

An acrylic light box up-lights the product and a laser cut stencil can be replaced as new fragrances are produced. The outer layer is a colored polished stainless steel panel that plays with light and shadow.
