MR Architecture was responsible for the interior renovation of a historic Georgian-style house, originally built in 1904 by architect W.E. Brady. The estate renovation also included the new construction and furnishing of a pool house and accompanying changing rooms.

The interior architecture of the structures were designed to compliment the historic shell of the original house using traditional moldings and details with a clean contemporary flare. The layout of rooms were updated to fit modern day usage and included a master suite, x guest bedrooms, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, and an entire floor of guest amenity spaces.

The ground floor was arranged as a series of formal entertaining rooms, while the cellar floor provided guests with a sequence of laidback amenities, including a spa, billiards room, bar, gym, and theatre.

The result was a color-blocked and textural dream. Every room was decoratively finished in a bold color, each eliciting a different mood.

As the lead architect, I worked closely with the lead interior designer in coordinating the construction of all the custom millwork, complex A/V and lighting requirements throughout.
